The famed "Amen Corner" at Augusta National Golf Club begins with this hole on the back nine -- number 11, the White Dogwood. It's a 505 yard, par 4 hole that bends around to the left as you approach the green and is surrounded partially by water. It's a narrow fairway off the tee with trees on both sides. Golfers try to stay as close to the right side with a slight fade. The second shot is just as demanding as the first, maybe even tougher because of the water on the left side of the green. Depending on the length of the drive, the second calls for anywhere from a six to a wedge. It's a hole that most golfers pray for a par --if lucky enough to get a birdie it's like making an eagle because it is so difficult. In the background you can see the Hogan bridge leading over to the 12th hole--Golden Bell.
