One of our nation's landmarks....so designated by the National Park Service, and one of the most beautiful places in New England. The land's original occupants were members of the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head...associated with the larger Algonquin Tribe. Known for its beautiful clay cliffs and quiet natural serenity, its name was officially changed to Aquinnah in 1997 but many still call it by its original name. The existing Gay Head Lighthouse went into operation in 1856. Since this photograph was taken, the lighthouse has been repositioned inland as erosion was slowly moving closer to the structure putting it in danger of falling to the beach below.

He loves photographing beauty wherever he finds it: landscapes, wild life, in our national parks and especially in sunsets at Marco Island, Florida which he believes are unequaled anywhere else on the planet. He hopes you will enjoy browsing through his photographs and welcomes any comments you may have about his work.
