One of the many colorful barns of the beautiful Palouse area in southwest Washington state, this gothic style red barn with round silo and double cupolas has been around for over 100 years. Once known as the Heidenreich Dairy Barn, it was taken over by new owners and "re-christened" as The Palouse Knot Barn and turned into a wedding and event venue. For many years, that yellow-orange vintage flatbed truck has sat out front. It moves around a lot, but it's always there.
David Choate is a retired Television News Journalist and United Way executive who lives in Hollywood, Florida. He loves photographing beauty wherever he finds it: landscapes, wild life, in our national parks and especially in sunsets at Marco Island, Florida which he believes are unequaled anywhere else on the planet.
