Up early this February morning to catch the sunrise on Dania Beach, Florida and to capture the wave action under the Dania Beach Pier. I wasn't disappointed! The sunrise itself was spectacular and I'll be processing and uploading it to my gallery tomorrow. I really like the mood set with this image, waves splashing up against the pillars as they came in with the rising tide. The sun, rising just to the right (south) of the pier, cast lovely reflections on the receding water and damp sand on the shoreline.
The image was my Day 55 submission to the Fine Art America year-long Journal/Diary Challenge that required participants to upload an image daily for the entire year of 2022. (2/24/22)
