The fertile farm lands of the Palouse --in black and white. The Palouse is like no other place in the world -- unique because of its rolling hills that go on for ever and take on many swirls and shapes of different colors and shades. In color, the hills are mostly green and light brown or tan depending on the crops that are growing in the different fields, In black and white, you are depending more on the shades of the colors to bring out the contrast and texture of the land. Trees take on a much more dramatic in black and white, adding dimension to the scenes.
