Description
Two fishing boats, high and dry on the beach of the Bay of Fundy, are waiting for the tide to rise. We're in the town of St. Johns where the tides change for low to high and vice versa approximately every six hours. The difference between low and high can be as much as 50 feet or more. Fishing boats that bob in the water alongside docks at high tide, sit on the ground like this one, some 50 to 75 feet from the water line.
