The famous Lover's Beach or Playa Del Amor of Cabo San Lucas is just steps away from the Iconic Land's End Arch, El Arco. The golden sand beach dips into a gently sloping underwater shelf in the Sea of Cortez and is usually jammed with swimmers, snorkelers, scuba divers and just plain sun lovers. Walking between the rocks to the west, one comes upon the Playa del Divorcio or Divorce Beach. Unlike the calm waters on this side, the waters of the Pacific are too dangerous for swimming because of the strong currents and sometimes crashing waves.
David Choate is a retired Television News Journalist and United Way executive who lives in Hollywood, Florida. He loves photographing beauty wherever he finds it: landscapes, wild life, in our national parks and especially in sunsets at Marco Island, Florida which he believes are unequaled anywhere else on the planet.
