A photographer's delight - the blue hour after another spectacular Marco Island, Florida sunset --fronted by sea oats in a sea of wonderful and brilliant colors. Take note of the two spectators on the beach, dwarfed by the magnitude of the scene before them. The dark blue sky was afire for a full 10 minutes or longer, keeping me extremely busy looking for the best shot before the sun dipped below the horizon. Even then, the afterglow continued to awe those still witnessing the ever-changing but always beautiful display of mother nature's art.

Absolutely true David, I know exactly what you mean. It reminds me of a day my husband and I were sitting on a river river bed on the Kariba basin in Zimbabwe, about 200 metres just before one of the rivers enter into the Kariba dam itself. It was close to sunset and there were a few hippo's grazing on the banks and a couple of elephant walking about us. Remembering this place in my teens andat that time in my early 40's I said to my husband, taking in the beauty of the moment and where we were. This place will always be here, come rain or shine. It will not change much, the sun will always rise and it will always set. Even 50 years from now, when we and any problems we think we may or may not have in the world, are gone! This place will still be here! I really love nature and animals, thats why I'm painting wildlife. I really do like this image of yours, it reminds me of home so much. Well done again and thank you. Stay safe.

thanks Lorraine. I kinda like it myself. I am drawn especially to the two tiny figures at water's edge. It gives real magnitude to the whole scene! It makes us realize how small we, as individuals are when compared with the artistry of Mother Nature.
