The beach all to themselves, siblings spend the last minutes of their day collecting shells to take home as a remembrance of these wonderful days of summer. The hazy, lazy days of summer are so well expressed in this image. The bright sun, still a blazing yellow ball,is slowly sinking behind a bank of clouds, causing the dreamy,golden yellow shade. A soft wave breaks just off the shore and the sun reflects in the wet sand of the beach. A scene of peace and tranquility.
David Choate is a retired Television News Journalist and United Way executive who lives in Hollywood, Florida. He loves photographing beauty wherever he finds it: landscapes, wild life, in our national parks and especially in sunsets at Marco Island, Florida which he believes are unequaled anywhere else on the planet.
